People always ask me what the numbers on each perfume mean. And I always answer honestly that there is no particular reason!
When I started experimenting with perfume materials I had so many bottles and blends. At first I labelled them individually with abbreviations, or words that reminded me of or inspired me to use the particular notes to make the perfume. Eventually I started numbering bottles, picking numbers that seemed to somehow feel relevant. Though it would have made more sense to have a more structured system, this just happened organically, and well, I like it.
So the three perfumes currently on the website have numbers for my own records, corresponding to my notes, tests and materials, representative of the concept, in an abstract, intuitive way.
